Matthew McConaughey is an American actor and producer who gained wide public recognition for starring in the coming-of-age comedy Dazed and Confused (1993).
He has starred in numerous films throughout his career, including not only dramas but also comedies, such as A Time to Kill (1996), Amistad (1997), The Wedding Planner (2001), How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days (2003), to name a few. He is often regarded as one of the most attractive artists in the world.
His role as Ron Woodroof in the biopic Dallas Buyers Club (2013) earned him an Academy Award for Best Actor.
In addition, asked about his childhood dreams, he said that he wanted to become an attorney, but after graduating from college, he realized that this occupation was not for him. Nevertheless, in 2012, he worked with director Richard Linklater on Bernie, playing district attorney Danny Buck Davidson.
