Over the years, actor Charlie Sheen has led a tumultuous life in the spotlight, drug and alcohol abuse scandals, or sex scandals, have long covered the front pages of newspapers.
Sheen has been in and out of rehab numerous times. He was sentenced to two years in prison with a suspended sentence for assaulting his ex-girlfriend, Brittany Ashland. His engagement to actress Kelly Preston ended after reports surfaced that she had been accidentally shot in the arm while in the house she shared with Sheen.
Following the divorce and custody dispute with Denise Richards, his second wife, she claims she was physically and verbally abused and even threatened by Sheen he will kill her.
He was sued by his ex-fiancée, adult film actress Brett Rossi, who accused him of domestic violence, death threats and even an attempt to murder her by strangling.
