The blonde bombshell didn’t earn any money for her appearance in the famous magazine back in 1953 when they released the first issue. The pictures were taken a few years before the magazine appeared on the market and Hugh Hefner bought them as material for the magazine.
When he purchased the photographs, she wasn’t in charge of them anymore. He’d bought them from a calendar firm and was so crazy in love with Marilyn, that he couldn’t wait to place them on the first cover.
