Pigcasso was rescued from a South African slaughterhouse at four weeks old and now she is a 450-pound pig that became a famous painter. South African animal-rights activist Joanne Lefson adopted Pigcasso after rescuing her from a grim fate at the slaughterhouse, a few years ago.
Joanne Lefson is an animal lover and when she took Pigcasso to her farm she gave her many toys in order to keep her entertained. Among those toys were also some paintbrushes – it was love at first sight! – she felt in love with those paintbrushes, ignoring completely all her other toys.
