Oprah Winfrey
One of the most influential and empowering women in the world, Oprah Winfrey, also had a substance abuse problem during her early 20s. She admitted that in 1995, during one of her talk shows.
She was romantically involved with a man who was constantly using cocaine, and while they were together, she struggled with this addiction too. Her biggest regret is the fact that she “handed over my power to a man.”
Oprah is currently supporting people with substance abuse addictions.
