This one is perfect as a dessert, especially when you want French toast, but you’re feeling too lazy to actually cook it. For this delicious recipe you will have to open your pantry and grab the next ingredients:

- 3Â Tbsp. Â milk
- 1 tsp maple syrup (honey works as well)
- 1/4 tsp cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp vanilla extract
- Pinch ground nutmeg
- 1 Â egg
- 1 cup bread pieces
Directions
- start by putting the batter in a large mug and microwave it for a few seconds, until is melted. After that, add the milk, the maple syrup or the honey, the cinnamon, vanilla extract, the egg and the nutmeg to the mug and mix them really well;
- add the bread pieces to the mug and keep stirring until all of them are covered in the mixture. Don’t stir too roughly, or the bread will fall apart. Let the composition for 1 minute, so the flavors can combine;
- put the mug in a microwave for 90 seconds or until everything is solid.
4. Veggie chips
Sometimes you are in the mood to eat something crunchy and salty and chips are your first option. It’s no big deal to indulge in a bag of chips form time to time, but doing this too often can lead to serious health issues.
I have a recipe for those days when you feel like eating chips, but don’t want to put those empty calories into your body. You can make yourself a bowl of fresh chips just in a few minutes, in the comfort of your own home.
Ingredients
- 1 sweet potato, peeled;
- 1 russet potato, peeled;
- 2 beets, peeled;
- 1 Tbsp. olive oil;
- 1/4 tsp. rosemary;
- 1/4 tsp. thyme;
- 1/4 tsp. salt.
Directions
- slice all the vegetables as thin as you can;
- soak the vegetables slices in iced water for 10 to 15 minutes. After that, rinse them repeatedly, until the water runs clear;
- dry the slices and add the condiments on top;
- put the slices on a microwavable plate and cook them for 3 minutes on high. When they turn gold, you know they are done. If they turn too brown, they might be a little burned. Flip them and cook the slice for a minute on medium. You can adapt the cooking time depending on your microwave, these are just simple guidelines;
- When your chips are nice and brownish, they are done are ready to be enjoyed. You can add more condiments on top or serve them with hummus or a homemade yogurt, garlic, parsley and olive oil dip. Enjoy!
