You don’t choose the right disinfecting products
As I said before, there is a huge difference between cleaning and disinfecting a surface, therefore you should choose special products for disinfecting and other products that are made especially for cleaning.
According to Patel, if you want to disinfect a surface, you should choose “specific products to kill germs that are living on surfaces, rather than just physically removing them.”
There are many types of disinfectants, but according to the United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), the most common are Windex Disinfectant Cleaner, Comet Disinfecting Bathroom Cleaner, Clorox Disinfecting Wipes, and Lysol Disinfecting Wipes.
