You use bleach without taking caution

According to cleaning experts and doctors, bleach is one of the most effective disinfectants of them all, so you shouldn’t use it if you suffer from asthma or other chronic respiratory diseases. But unfortunately, there are many people who don’t know how or when to use it properly and they end up with severe breathing symptoms.

People who “have asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), or other chronic respiratory issues,” should not use bleach, says Samantha Radford, PhD, exposure scientist and founder of The Evidence-Based Mommy.

People who don’t suffer from these diseases, “should work with bleach in a ventilated area and use gloves,” she suggests. “You should also store any bleach-containing cleaners out of reach of children. And never mix bleach with anything other than water — not vinegar, not ammonia, or anything else.”
