Being a restaurant server is one of the most difficult jobs out there, not only because you have to interact with people of all ages, be friendly and support rude behavior when they don’t like the food, but also because some individuals generally ask you to recommend a dish to them and expect it to be extraordinary or they ask your opinion if something tastes good or not, like you are supposed to know what they like.
So, it’s important to remember that restaurant servers aren’t allowed to tell you whether or not they like a dish, and if you ask them to recommend something, they will usually recommend an expensive dish.
