Change your morning routine

One of the most important things that can influence your mood throughout the day is how you feel and wake up in the morning. With that said, if you want to be happy all day and have some ‘me time’, try to change your morning routine a little.

For example, when you turn off your alarm in the morning, instead of checking your phone, you should count your blessings and be grateful for what you have in your life. Practicing gratitude can help you become aware of your life and accomplishments while improving your mood and mental health.

Marni Aspen, a public relations intern, recommends that you practice some yoga poses to stretch your body right when you turn off your alarm and are still in bed. After these yoga moves, try to practice gratitude and give thanks for what you have in your life. Experts say that being aware of your achievement will increase your self esteem and improve your mental health.
