Many common disinfectants are not that effective, especially herbal-based cleaners. According to Carolyn Forte, Director of the Good Housekeeping Institute Cleaning Lab, “If you’re using it for a matter of seconds, it’s not going to work. You’ll want to use another cleaner in this case.”
