Create a guest list

First of all, if you decide to host this event, it’s important to create a guest list and invite the people that you appreciate the most and feel good around. It’s essential to remember that your guest list should be as small as possible if you want to minimize your risk of contracting the novel coronavirus, Sars-Cov-2.

If you are among those who are at high risk of developing serious complications from Covid-19, you should also consider asking your guests to get tested a few days before the event. Even though it may sound weird to some of them, you should make sure that you are safe. According to medical experts, you should spend the holiday with those who live with you, but if you want to invite more people, such as relatives or your best friends, then make sure that they don’t carry the virus. Maybe some of them are asymptomatic and can spread the virus anyway.

Make sure that you keep your guests safe as well

Creating a safe party is not an easy task, especially during the coronavirus pandemic, but as a host, you should make sure that your guests have everything they need to keep the virus at bay. To be more specific, you need to provide them with hand sanitizer, make sure that there is always hand soap in the bathroom, try to give them paper towels to dry their hands, if possible create an outdoor party, and if not – then you should check the bathroom from time to time and sanitize the toilet and water tap.

Don’t forget to ask your guests if they want to wear face masks (of course, not when they drink or eat), but maybe some of them will want to wear one just for extra protection.
