You are too sarcastic
Being sarcastic can a tricky, especially when you have a conversation with someone who doesn’t know your sense of humor. If you don’t know when and how to use sarcastic statements, you risk making other people feel bad and uncomfortable or perhaps ruining your own reputation and being considered gossipy when you use it to describe another person.
For example, when you see a person who annoys you and say “yeah, I love him (or her) as much as I love spiders, but I have a phobia of spiders” you actually risk making the person you are talking to change their mind about you, especially when your interlocutor doesn’t know you so well.
According to psychologists, people who are insecure, have a passive aggressive character, and are bad at ‘reading’ the people around them tend to use sarcasm too often to compensate for certain shortcomings.
