Hand dryers can’t kill the virus
Hand dryers won’t kill the coronavirus, but you should wash your hands for 20 seconds with water and soap or you can use alcohol based disinfectants. In terms of drying, you can opt for paper towels, especially when you use a public bathroom.
“Hand dryers are not effective in killing the 2019-nCoV. To protect yourself against the new coronavirus, you should frequently clean your hands with an alcohol-based hand rub or wash them with soap and water. Once your hands are cleaned, you should dry them thoroughly by using paper towels or a warm air dryer,” said WHO.
