There are a lot of etiquette rules that should be followed when we go to a restaurant, and out of the desire to be as polite as possible, we end up being annoying or rude.
So, first of all, ordering something for someone else who hasn’t arrived yet can be a rude habit, not only because you are putting the server in an awkward situation and not letting them do their job properly, but because you are asking your friend to think about what they would like to eat or drink in advance without letting them see the menu.
