The power of squeegee
Do you know that annoying feeling when you clean the whole bathroom, everything shines around you, but then you take a bath and the glass shower cabin looks just as dirty as before? Well, this is your fault, because you don’t use a squeegee to remove excess water after showering.
According to James Scott, co-founder of Dappir, a residential cleaning company, “keeping it stored on a hook inside the shower. [It is helpful because] the mineral content of the shower water settles on the tiles, walls, and glass over time,” which is quite difficult for you to clean them when drying.
Put your things in their place
Experts recommend putting things in their place when you come back home, not leaving them on the table for days. According to Tracy McCubbin, founder of dClutterfly, a home organizing company based in Los Angeles, California, if you want to live in a well-organized and clean house, you should always “put things away where they go.”
“If people can make that part of their daily routine, that’s a huge game-changer,” she added.
In fact, this method can help you find your things easily. If you know where you put your things, namely that every item has its own ‘house’, you will see that your life will be easier. For instance, if you keep your keys in the same place, then you know where to find them the next time you hurry and have to leave to arrive on time, right?
