Missoula, Montana
Known as the Big Sky Country, this wasn’t enough to keep Montana away from this article. Although, Missoula experienced “fewer spikes in short-term pollution from 2013 to 2015 than from 2012 to 2014”, this little improvement was really good news, according to the Lung Association. Here, the air quality hits bad levels on 8 ½ days per year, on average.
