Religious communities come together
The Victoria Islamic Center, a mosque in Texas burned to the ground last January under strange circumstances. But the good news is that synagogues and churches offered money, helping hands and space for the rebuilding of the mosque. This charity work raised more than a million dollars and in September they were distributing emergency supplies to victims of Hurricane Harvey.
