Locals of the small town of Ottana, Sardinia, are some of the best at keeping traditions. During their well-known Boe di Ottana Carnival has been held before the Roman times and, so many centuries later, it still looks the same. The main tradition here relates to men’s transformation into wild beasts. Every year, men wear these costumes and perform ‘rioting’ on the streets.
