2. Touching surfaces without taking precautions
This goes without a saying for all areas in a hotel room, but especially bathroom areas. While you should always follow this rule whenever you are staying at a hotel, it is particularly important to do so these days in the time of COVID-19.
The places people touch the most are the dirtiest ones, such as doorknobs, faucets, the TV remote, and even the light switches. You can use disinfectant wipes to make sure that all the surfaces you need to touch are clean. Also, make sure you lay down a towel on the bathroom floor right by the toilet because this is a place that can collect lots of bacteria.
