5. Breaking something and lying about it
Whenever you stay at a hotel and break something by mistake, don’t worry and, more importantly, don’t lie about it. Also, don’t try to fix it because you’ll risk it and make it worse. It’s like when you were a little kid, and you were trying to lie to your teacher. Well, maybe sometimes it used to work and sometimes it didn’t. But don’t do it now. It’s better to be honest and tell the truth.
It can happen to anyone. You just have to tell the staff about the accident, so they know something happened so they can clean the area more thoroughly, or maybe they even need to repair something.
