Roth made herself clear that she has nothing against men, but she felt that it was necessary a “no men allowed” resort where women can relax and refill their batteries, without the distraction of men. For a while, the island was a crazy thought, until Kristina saw an incredible 8.4-acre patch of land off the coast of Finland.
The cute irony is that she felt in love with a local man. “His parents own an island on the archipelago, and he kept telling me, the island next door is for sale,” Roth said. “I said, ‘I’m not interested, I just bought a beautiful piece of land in Turks and Caicos — I’m really not interested.’”
However, when she visited the island, it was love at first sight – it was the perfect spot for women-only resort. She started to work to see her dream come true and now, SuperShe Island has ten guest cabins, a spa and many adventure activities.
