REDD FOXX
Foxx was known around the world due to his character in Sanford and Son. In the entertainment business, he was a mentor to many comedians.
Because the actor was always clowning around trying to make people laugh, Redd’s co-stars thought he was joking when he wasn’t feeling well on the set of The Royal Family one day.
As they were messing around in rehearsal, Foxx went to break everyone up, and he collapsed. Once realizing the situation was severe, they called the paramedics. After being taken to the Queen of Angels Hollywood Presbyterian Medical Center, they discovered he had a heart attack and later died.
He was 68 years old.
