2. DMX
Earl Simmons, best known by his stage name, DMX, was an American rapper and actor. In 1999 he released his best-selling album And Then There Was X. He also appeared in a number of films, and even starred in the reality TV series DMX: Soul Of A Man. In 2003, DMX published a memoir entitled E.A.R.L .: The Autobiography of DMX. He has had several collaborations with Jay-Z, Ja Rule, Eve and LL Cool J.
Despite his fame and success, the American rapper had many problems with banned substances and was hospitalized several times in rehabilitation clinics. He was also repeatedly convicted of acts such as possession of drugs and weapons, cruelty applied to animals, dangerous driving.
