Jason Statham is an English actor and film producer. Before becoming an actor, he started working at local market stalls, while practicing kung fu, kickboxing and karate. He was also a model for Tommy Hilfiger and Levi’s in various advertising campaigns.
Statham is regarded as one of the greatest, as well as highest paid actors in the world. According to the mass media, his film career from 2002 to 2017 generated an estimated $1.5 billion in ticket sales.
Going back to what I said earlier about his modeling collaborations for various brands, during that time, he decided to try his luck as an actor. So, he got an audition for the crime comedy film Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels (1998) written and directed by British director Guy Ritchie. Well, that’s how he portrayed Bacon, and this role brought him fame and success.
