Rick Moranis worked as an actor for many years and he is known for making people laugh during his performances. He started his TV appearances when he was part of the shows “SCTV”, “SCTV Network”, and “Saturday Night Live”.
The first films he played in were “Streets of Fire” and “Strange Brew”. He became popular in 1984 when he starred as Louis Tully in “Ghostbusters”.
Given the fact that his wife died in 1991 due to breast cancer, Rick Moranis decided to leave his Hollywood career behind and focus on raising his children.
