Alicia Keys is an American singer and songwriter who started composing songs when she was only 12 years old and was signed at 15 years old by Columbia Records. She is considered one of the greatest singers in the world, as well as one of the most influential people in the world.
She chose ‘Wilde’ as her first stage name at the age of 16, but her mom said no. “She said, ‘It sounds like you’re a stripper,”‘ said Keys. But her manager suggested the name Keys after a dream he had. “It’s like the piano keys. And it can open so many doors,” the singer explained.
