Everyone has heard of Harry Potter, but being in the spotlight definitely put a lot of pressure on the star of the show, Daniel Radcliffe. In an interview for “Off Camera Show”, he opened about his alcohol addiction.
He was constantly feeling watched and in order to forget about this, he turned to drinking. He admitted that he never drank on set, but the effects of alcohol abuse definitely showed during filming: “I can point to many scenes where I’m just gone. Dead behind the eyes.”
While struggling with this, Radcliffe wouldn’t change a thing about his life: “Even at the lowest point, I still loved my job so much.”
