A hotel stay is in many ways a necessity (at least when you’re traveling), but that doesn’t mean you have to go with the fanciest option. Especially as resort fees, taxes, and other surcharges are tacked on to the (already high) room rate, it’s an easy way to spend hundreds of dollars for… a good night’s sleep?
