Pay attention to your habits
The truth is that we tend to adopt some bad habits when we feel stressed and when we are self isolated or in quarantine, such as drinking large quantities of alcohol, smoking a lot, taking drugs or eating unhealthy foods.
“Those who have poor coping mechanisms, such using alcohol, tobacco, or drugs to alleviate negative feelings, or those who tend to self-isolate in difficult situations may be more likely to develop depression,” LeMonda says.
“Those who also tend to alter health behaviors in the face of stress, for example, individuals who tend to over- or under-eat or those who develop poor or interrupted sleep may be more likely to experience depression,” the doctor adds.
So, all you have to do is to eat healthy, exercise and get regular sleep if you want to be healthy and safe and you will see that everything will be fine.
