Donkey sleeping in a bathtub
- Where: Arizona
According to authorities, in the 1920s, when a local dam broke, all the water flooded a man’s farm. The farmer’s donkey used to sleep in the bathtub, and when the flood came, the donkey was driven by the water a few miles away.
The authorities struggled for a few hours to save the donkey, and after this complex rescue process, the law enforcement officers created a law banning donkeys from sleeping in the bathtub. What is even stranger and crazier than this law is that it allows donkeys to stand in a bathtub, but forbids them to sleep there.
Whistling for a lost canary before 7 a.m.
- Where: California
Well, if you own a canary as a pet, you better take care of him, because if you live in the city of Berkeley, California, and your bird leaves your house, you can’t whistle for them before 7 a.m.!
We don’t know how and why this weird law was instituted, but it is quite accurate, which means that such an unpleasant event really took place some time ago.
