Katy Perry is an American singer and songwriter who started singing at a very young age. For instance, during her childhood, she spent most of her time singing in church. After her first commercially unsuccessful debut album, she managed to become known in 2008, but with her second album called One of the Boys. This album turned her into an international celebrity, and nowadays is considered one of the most influential people in the world.
She’s the recipient of numerous awards, including four Guinness World Records, five Billboard Music Awards, five American Music Awards, a Brit Award, and a Juno Award.
A few years ago, when she had a relationship with Russel Brand (an English comedian and actor), she bought a ticket to space for his 35th birthday. Perry paid about $200,000 for a ticket for Richard Branson’s spaceship company Virgin Galactic. Meanwhile, the couple has divorced, but it is still unclear what happened to that ticket or whether Perry still wants to send him to space.
