Don’t forget your face mask
The truth is that walking doesn’t involve too much effort and you can control your breathing, so you should consider wearing your mask while walking in public spaces. Walking is different than running, so it’s easier to wear a face mask while walking.
Some health experts and researchers say that there’s a possibility that this type of coronavirus can be transmitted through the air. However, more evidence is needed in this sense, but for your own safety, you can take your face mask with you while walking, especially because you are not alone outdoors.
Studies have shown that the virus can be easily spread through tiny particles of saliva or secretions when we cough or sneeze. So, if you (your companions or passers-by) don’t wear a mask you will be more likely to get infected with Sars-Cov-2.
Find a separate route
As we said before, studies have shown that the virus can stay alive for up to three hours in the air you breathe after a person with Sars-Cov-2 sneezes or coughs. So, if you want to be safe, you have to find a separate route where there aren’t a lot of people and if that’s not possible, then try to avoid walking behind them.Â
So, this is another reason that shows the importance of face masks and social distancing. Unfortunately, you have to change some things in your life if you want to be safe and healthy, such as limiting gatherings, keeping social distance, and wearing face masks even if it’s uncomfortable.

I am a cyclist and ride in and through out the city I live in. I carry a masks with me, but I don’t wear them unless I have to stop and be around people (Rare). I ride early and stay clear of crowds.
