Wash or disinfect your shoes
Even though it is quite impossible to imagine how the life of a virus works, researchers have shown that respiratory droplets (those tiny particles of secretions that fall to the ground, in the air, or on other objects or people when someone sneezes, coughs or speaks quickly) can attach to your shoes as well.Â
So, after walking, you have to use a disinfectant to clean your shoes properly. You can also pour some disinfectant on the door mat to wipe the soles of your shoes, before coming into your home.Â
You should wear sunglassesÂ
Now that you know that’s important to disinfect your shoes, wear a face mask outdoors and avoid touching certain objects, it’s important to consider wearing glasses as well.Â
The explanation is that the novel coronavirus can infect you through your eyes as well, so that’s why it’s essential to wear sunglasses outdoors. Unfortunately, those respiratory droplets can be carried by the wind directly into your eyes.Â
Of course, you don’t need all of these things if you keep your social distance and follow a strict personal hygiene routine.

I am a cyclist and ride in and through out the city I live in. I carry a masks with me, but I don’t wear them unless I have to stop and be around people (Rare). I ride early and stay clear of crowds.
