Ankle circles
First of all, you don’t need any workout equipment to do this exercise. So, all you have to do is lying on your back and straighten your legs. Then you have to create an “O” shaped movement with your ankles and do this process for at least 30 seconds, and after this, you have to change direction – in other words, you have to make this movement in a clockwise direction for thirty seconds, then do the same ankle circles but in a counterclockwise direction for another thirty seconds.Â
Even though this exercise seems really simple, it is actually efficient for our joints. “When individuals become inactive, joints begin to stiffen, resulting in pain and discomfort,” Froerer says. “You can think of a range of motion exercises as a great way to ‘add oil to the joints’ and keep them healthy and fluid in everyday movement.”
