White kitchens with stainless steel
All white kitchens can be very beautiful and cozy, but it seems that they are no longer fashionable this year. Many interior designers encourage homeowners to use bolder colors when renovating their kitchens because they are much more interesting and elegant.Â
“Is it true? Could we be seeing fewer white kitchens with stainless steel appliances in 2020? I certainly think so! I’m thrilled to see this trend go as homeowners start to experiment with moody colors like black and deep olive green for their kitchen cabinetry. And with dark cabinetry comes the re-introduction of white appliances, but with brushed bronze pulls and hardware,” interior designer, Elizabeth Rishel.Â
Warm neutrals
We have to admit that we all love neutral colors when it comes to redecorating our homes, but it seems that we should mix them with other colors to create a big impact.Â
“Grays and a limited neutral palette. We are so excited to see the beloved ‘neutral palette’ expand to include warmer, richer browns, camels, and cognacs. These warmer neutrals play so nicely with grays and whites, so various shades of all of the above will be our go-to colors in the year ahead! Warmer tones also help imbue a home with a timeless, enduring ambiance,” said interior designer, Kate Marker.
Macramé
The macramé has been much debated lately by interior designers. While some agree with the reintroduction of these accessories in trend again, others believe that it should be left in the past forever.
“I’ve felt this way for a while, but I’m ready to say ‘see ya never’ to macramé. I’m all for a thoughtfully chosen or one-of-a-kind piece, but I feel that rooms full of macramé hangings, planters, and even swings tend to look overdone,” said Mallory.Â
