You spend time with negative people

We have to admit that negative thinking is a well-known feeling that we all go through at some point in our lives, right? So, it’s perfectly normal to have negative thoughts from time, especially when you experience anxiety or you are not sure about your actions. But, this should be a temporary feeling.

If you are an anxious person or suffer from chronic stress disorders, you should definitely choose the people around you wisely, because we tend to be influenced by those we spend time with. So, if you spend your time with someone who always reminds you of your problems, flaws, or simply triggers your anxiety, you should limit these interactions as soon as possible.

You should spend time with happy people who make you feel good and reduce the tension in your life. That’s how you can improve your mental health.

You don’t have an active life

Well, the benefits of physical activity are presented everywhere on the internet, on TV and among medical experts, because they can definitely improve your overall health. According to recent studies, people who exercise regularly for at least thirty minutes are more likely to have a healthier and happier life than those who prefer a sedentary lifestyle.

So, if you suffer from anxiety, you should exercise more to reduce symptoms. No matter know little you exercised in the past, but it’s very important to move your body every single day. You can just go for a walk if you want to.

The best part is that you can make new friends when you exercise. “Movement itself primes you to connect with others. [Exercise] changes your brain chemistry in a way that makes it easier to connect with others and bond,” said Dr. Kelly McGonigal.
