Do not save your credit or debit card information anywhere
There are a lot of websites, especially those that allow you to buy something online, that ask you to save your card information so that it will be easier for you the next time you want to make another purchase. No matter how convenient it may seem, resist the urge to save your personal data anywhere, because otherwise, you risk losing your money. In fact, writing your card numbers from time to time doesn’t require such a big effort.
“Don’t save credit card information on sites where you purchase something. And open a separate credit card specifically for online transactions,” says Hatter.
