She completely went crazy after losing custody of her children to her ex-husband, Kevin Federline, and had several altercations with reporters.
She was in and out of rehab until, eventually, managed to rebuild her life, but not her career. Interesting enough, the one who helped her get her life back on track was her father, Jamie. Actually, her father was granted control over her affairs by court order in 2008, after she was put in hospital amid concerns over her mental health.
Now she is trying to attack in court the conservatorship that has controlled her life for 13 years.
