4. Macaulay Culkin
Macaulay was born into a family of average people, his mother being a telephone operator and his father a former theater actor. He became famous due to the movie franchise Home Alone, becoming at that time the best paid actor in Hollywood. Culkin even earned a Golden Globe nomination and a Young Artist Award thanks to the two Home Alone Movies he starred in.
Wanting to have control over his acting income, his father became his producer. But he was more interested in the material part than in representing the interests of his son. In his search for money, he no longer paid attention to the quality of the roles that were offered to his son.
