  • Childhood dream: to become a funeral director

Our beautiful actress and filmmaker, Angelina Jolie, is the recipient of numerous accolades, including an Academy Award and three Golden Globe Awards. She is one of the highest paid actresses in the world, sometimes being at the top of the list. As you probably already know, she made her screen debut alongside her father, Jon Voight, in Lookin’ to Get Out (1982).

Her first leading role in a major film was in Hackers (1995). However, when her grandfather died, she was very disappointed with the way his funeral was handled, so she revealed that she wanted to be a funeral director to help other suffering people.

Of course, she didn’t become a funeral director, but in addition to her filming career, she dedicates her time to promoting various causes and is also known for her humanitarian efforts to help people in need. Jolie has received a Jean Hersholt Humanitarian Award and made an honorary Dame Commander of the Order of St Michael and St George (DCMG).
