Lady Gaga is an American singer, songwriter and actress who started her career as a teenager, namely singing at open mic nights and acting in school plays. She is considered one of the greatest singers of all time.
During an interview, the singer said that her stage name came about when her music producer, Robert Fusari, told her that she reminded him of the famous Queen song “Radio Ga Ga.”
“He started to call me Gaga when I’d come into the studio. When we were getting ready to really start performing, I decided that I’d been playing under my real name for so long I wanted a new way to reinvent myself. So I said, ‘What about Lady Gaga?’ because Gaga is sort of crazy and Lady has such connotations,” Gaga said.
