You don’t cook with the right amount of oil
Oils that contain good fats can be used frequently in your recipes because they are good for your overall health. But cooking with too little good fat your body won’t receive some essential nutrients. However, cooking with large amounts of oil isn’t a good idea as well.
According to Kris Sollid, RD, the senior director of nutrition communications for the International Food Information Council Foundation, “a little is good for flavor, but more isn’t ‘better’ for your health. Cooking oils like olive, canola, and soybean are great sources of healthy fats but are high in calories, as well.”
You can use olive oil if you want to add some good fats to your diet, but don’t cook with it. Experts say that olive oil has a lot of health benefits, but it shouldn’t be cooked unless you choose a high quality olive oil.
