Aromatic herbs can last for up to a year

Well, aromatic herbs can last up to a year but you must freeze them. Do you know that moment when you want to cook something good but you have no aromatic herbs to hand and you can no longer find it in the market? Well, if this is the case, all you have to do is buy some herbs in advance and freeze them.

“Herbs can go off very quickly, so prior to that happening, chop them up finely, put them in an ice cube tray, and add either water or olive oil. Then, when you’re ready to use the herb, pop it out and you can heat the olive oil up in a pan while sautéing your cilantro, for example. Alternatively, add mint and water then throw into smoothies,” said Nikki Sharp, the author of Meal Prep Your Way to Weight Loss.
