Frozen vegetables can last for more than a year

Just as in the case of fruits, frozen vegetables can last more than a year. Of course, you can freeze certain vegetables only if you want to use in recipes that involve a heating or boiling process, such as soup, sauces, risotto and so on. However, with salads, you should use fresh vegetables, not frozen.

“Frozen vegetables are just as nutritious as fresh ones, and sometimes even more so because they are stored straight from the harvest.
