Canned legumes can last for more than two years

Whether you prefer beans, corn, chickpeas, lentils, peas, soybeans or other canned legumes, you have to know that they are healthy and their shelf life can last two years or more. When you choose your favorite canned legumes you should first check the label because it is very important to see the ingredients, as you should stay away from those that contain sugar or salt.

“I love to store canned legumes because they are so versatile. You can eat them alone or add them to another dish for added bulk and flavor. Canned legumes begin to lose their moisture after one to two years,” said Warren.

Just like in the case of canned legumes, canned fish can last even for three years if you store it in a cool and dry place.
