Schizophrenia
Schizophrenia is often misunderstood because of the way it is presented in movies.
Most of the time, people with schizophrenia are characterized in films like serial killers and public dangers and the disease per se is often confused with Dissociative Identity Disorder, which is a totally different disease.
However, the reality is absolutely different, namely that people with schizophrenia are usually harmless.
