Just take a little break

If you have too many tasks to complete and it keeps you busy all the time, then it’s time to take a little break from your daily routine. A too hectic and busy life can disconnect you from the people around you and establish the feeling of loneliness and stress. Thus, it is a dubious circle because agitation leads to stress, and stress to loneliness and then loneliness causes even more stress. So, you have to take care of yourself. Instead, it is perfectly fine to find a ‘relaxation gate’ that helps you face all these stressful activities, such as listening to music, taking a hot bath, cooking, reading, watching a good movie, or just doing nothing. 

“Sometimes when people’s schedules are back-to-back for too long, they start disconnecting from themselves and other people,” says Judith Orloff, MD, psychiatrist and author of Thriving as an Empath. “They get overwhelmed from overworking and too much stimulation. So the practice [then] is just to relax and do what their body needs.”

You could spend some time in nature with your dog, if possible. “You can go for a walk outside if you are nearby nature or a park,” said Dr. Jeremy Nobel, founder and president of The UnLonely Project.
