Chick-Fil-A
Many people don’t know this, especially men, but when a pregnant woman is in labor, the time until the baby arrives depends on a lot of factors, which means that some women may have time to get to the hospital or make a stop somewhere else, such as the Chick-Fil-A. This is the case of Falon Griffin who went into labor in July 2018 and had to leave her daughters off with a friend while she and her husband were at the hospital. Their meeting point was Chick-Fil-A.Â
When they got there, Fallon had to use the toilet, but the baby was too excited to meet her parents and was no longer waiting to get to the hospital, so Fallon delivered the baby in that bathroom. As in the previous case, the umbilical cord had been wrapped around the baby’s neck, but Robert (her husband) managed to loosen the cord without telling his wife the problem, as in those situations she can panic more and it could lead to severe complications. The paramedics arrived a few minutes later, and the baby and mother were safe. They named the baby Gracelyn.Â
The store manager said that Gracelyn would be able to eat free food there for life and they also guaranteed her a job.Â
On a lifeboat
On the Scottish island of Mull, the ferry working hours are from 8 am to 8 pm, and lifeboats are another alternative to get back to the mainland when there are no ferries.Â
In August 2009 at 5 am, Junelle Wilson and her husband were on a lifeboat on their way to the hospital. Again, the baby was too excited to meet his parents, so Junelle went into labor and realized that she was going to give birth on a lifeboat.Â
Being in fact a lifeboat, the crew was prepared to help Junelle deliver the baby safely. They boarded the ferry to get back home 12 hours later with a healthy baby boy, named Van Harris.
