Adipose tissue shrinks when you lose weight

Well, when you lose weight, your body gets its energy from the fat cells in the adipose tissue and it is normal because your organism receives fewer calories.

In addition, if you want to build muscle you will need to consume a high protein diet, but do not exclude all carbohydrates because your body needs them for energy as well.

“As your body starts to pull energy from your fat cells to make up for the energy from the food you’re not eating, your fat cells will shrink,” says Dr. Mike Roussell, Ph.D., co-founder of Neuro Coffee.

Another important thing that you have to take into consideration when losing weight is to try to stay in shape as long as you can because if you get fat fast your fat cells can greatly increase in volume. “They become bigger than they were before you lost weight,” he says.
